a perfect little tree.

sparkly and adorned with cupcakes!
my only complaint is it’s not lime green – my favorite color.

my colleagues are sweet for sending this to me.

i cannot get away…

from the simpsons.

why is it that every single guy i know loves the simpsons.
the hg finds them funny too…i come home to the cracking up and i want to pv.
reminds me of someone or two or three that i know.
*sigh*

i just don’t get it.

or maybe it’s like my love of cupcakes?
noooo….those are yummy, you can eat them, and their are flavors galore.

or maybe it’s like grey’s?
n00o….cute men (and women if you’re a guy), romance, broken bones, good stuff.

conclusion: the simpsons just are wrong.
BUT not nearly as bad as the family guy. boo.

cherry blossoms.

two words: cherry. blossoms.

fabulous! even with the dreary weather (cloudy, rain, sun, rain, sun, hail, sun).

plus my bright yellow hunter rain boots came in very handy!
and i got a picture with a pseudo squirrel.

a great saturday with my mom. oh how i love her.

miss you already!

oh, and by the way, did you think we’d miss a stop at a cupcake shop? no way!

sprinkles was the requested item from west virginia – luck them!
and then i had to bring mom to baked & wired.
yummy! xoxo

 

numbers for today: i took a nice walk outside (1.5mi) – it was a rest day.

Cupcakes Across America & the Fly Away Home Tour

Tonight I went to my first book signing ever!

I love reading. I would read endlessly as a child and I distinctly remember when I had to clean out my childhood closet and we purged boxes upon boxes of Nancy Drew Series and R.L. Stein authored books.

I must admit though it wasn’t my love of books but obsession with cupcakes that drew me here. I do really really like Jennifer Weiner’s books and have read many of them. Fly Away Home is one I’ve been eyeing for my next download so when this came up (thank you Twitter & Cupcakes Take The Cake) I decided that the combination of my two favorite things was perfect.

Got there a tad late but it was still fun and interesting listening to Jennifer. So glad I went.
