Just a map showing where we were. Just a map showing where we were. Before you get to the penguin area you can watch the seals feed. You could see anything unfortunately except how beautiful is was because of the wind and the cold.

Description: It was so incredibly windy - insane. Plus we couldn't take live pictures of the actual penguins but it was fascinating watching them come in from out in the ocean and march up the coast into their nests. It was beautiful. On Phillips Island there are approximately 60,000 penguins but in the area where we were located about 6,000 have nests.
