picked up little l from daycare and we hit the park before coming home – avoiding the mud at all costs.

this sweet adorable little girl made her first communion two weeks ago.

a bit late.
easter – a crazy family filled holiday weekend.
family dinner friday night – yummy fish.
then easter baskets, egg hunt, more candy than halloween, loving harassment from my future brothers-in-law.

my “date”.
my bestest 3 year old (jeff’s nephew) and i went on a date to the railroad museum last week.
followed by lunch at mcdonalds after our excursion.
it made his day (per his mom) but i think it made mine more.

a long time waiting.
by now, everyone (at least in wisconsin) knows that ptown won the division ii state championship.
i hadn’t spent that much time watching high school bball in a long time.
so fun to see taylor and david play.
had a lot of bleacher butt, heart palpitations from some close games, and neck aches from following the ball back and forth – up and down – the court.
jas watched a few with us and the kids made quite the signs!
the trip to madison was fun and very entertaining.
scored myself a tshirt from stiede. saw some old friends and had a lot of laughs.
looking forward to seeing taylor play next year…and of course seeing hayden and hayley play too.

front row.
we went to the shrine circus a few sunday’s ago.
it was our surprise to have front row seats…a little too close to the clowns for me!
the circus isn’t the circus i remember by any stretch…bmx bike riders, highly sketchy dancers, a series of dog acts – weird.
the elephants were the best.
the best was seeing how captivated and excited layla was with everything.
loved how excited she was to get her face painted.
