RIP Michael.
Growing up with this amazing pop star was exciting.
We use to dance around the house to his records and eventually cassette tapes.
Tony and Charlie Brawner even did a dance video to his song (which I still have).
Lisa Lemke my long time friend has a MJ glove that I wanted so badly.
It really is a sad day when an icon of your youth, no matter their trials, passes on.
I imagine it’s like Elvis or John Lennon dying for my parent’s generation.
Definitely a sureal experience…I’m glad I was blessed with a wonderful childhood.

A confused man, maybe, with definitely a lot of trial surrounding his life. But in the end, I keep thinking that he was *really* good at what he did. I still wish I would’ve gone to a concert of his at some point–such a wonderful entertainer! And in this world, where there’s so much bad news, that’s not a bad thing to be.
By the way, speaking of surreal–to look at his pictures as a little boy and then much later on. A completely different person.
